Frequently Asked Questions

At The Wright Center for Women’s Health, we want to ensure our patients are well informed when it comes to their healthcare needs. We have compiled this list of frequently asked questions to help our patients better understand our practice, office policies, and information related to their  visit. Our Office

  • Do you see patients on the weekends or evenings?
    • We are available in the evening on  Monday and Wednesday. We are also in the office on Saturday mornings.
  • Do you accept same-day appointments or walk-ins?
    • We do not currently offer walk-in appointments but you can always call our office and we will do our best to accommodate the soonest appointment, sometimes even same-day.
  • How do I request a prescription refill?
    • You can request a refill through your pharmacy of choice, call the office, or use your online patient portal.

About Your Visit

  • Do you have a complimentary consultation?
    • We do not offer complimentary consultations, however we can arrange a tour of the office upon request.
  • How should I prepare for my first appointment?
    • Once your initial appointment is scheduled you will receive an email from the staff member you spoke with, this will include all of the information you will need to complete your health history and office registration. Please bring your insurance card(s) with you to the appointment if you have not emailed them to us. Be ready for a photo, and have nothing to eat or drink for at least 8 hours prior to your appointment.
  • How will I be informed of test results?
    • All test results will be interpreted by your provider and gone over at a scheduled telephone appointment. You are able to view your results through the labcorp patient app or a staff member can send them to you once the provider has gone over the results with you.
  • What if I am unable to complete my forms or portal prior to my scheduled appointment?
    • It’s important that if you are unable to complete your forms or portal prior to your visit that you arrive at least 45 minutes early to ensure that our appointments run on time, and that we are able to give you and all of our scheduled guests the appropriate time, attention and personalized treatment  to your medical concerns.

Office Policies

  • I am running late for my appointment. What should I do?
    • Please call the office as early as possible, we may need to reschedule your appointment if you will be more than a few minutes late.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    • Is there a cancellation fee? Is there a no-show fee? We require 24 hours notice for an appointment that needs to be canceled or rescheduled. There is a fee of $100 in both the event of a cancellation or no-show without at least 24 hours notice.
  • Can I bring my children to my visit?
    • We do not have childcare available, however if you need to bring your child with you to your visit our staff will do our best to help make arrangements to complete your appointment.
  • How do I request my medical records?
    • You can request a medical release form from our office and we can complete your request typically within 7-10 days. You can also have another provider’s office request the records if needed.  BLANK ROI-2022 – Google Docs – Google Docs

Insurance & Billing

  • Which insurance policies do we accept?
    • We accept BCBS, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, and we accept most major healthcare policies. Give us a call and our schedulers will confirm the eligibility of your specific policy.
  • I don’t understand my insurance plan or what it covers, would I be able to speak with someone regarding my plan?
    • Our billing manager would be more than happy to speak to you regarding your insurance plan, any out of pocket estimates, or questions you have in relation to your policy and visit with our office.
  • What payment options does your practice accept?
    • We accept all major credit cards, cash, checks, care credit, HSA/FSA

      Self Pay? Yes
  • What if I do not have medical insurance?
    • We offer self pay pricing for guests that do not have insurance.
  • Do you accept Medicare?
    • We are accepting new guests covered under medicare
  • Do you accept Medicaid?
    • Please call our office. If we are at capacity with medicaid plans we will be happy to add you to the waiting list.
