Happy Birthday Dr. Wright!

The staff took a vote and nominated Rebeccah as our Exceptional Staff Member of the month! Here is what the staff had to say about Rebeccah:

• I totally nominate Rebeccah! She is the bomb on top of the bomb. She is so into us making our goals. She wants to do whatever is necessary and she helps everyone out. She’s been giving 110% in every way imaginable every since she got back from maternity leave. She’s very flexible and a jack of all trades. And what she doesn’t know she’s willing to find out. She’s been amazing and I can’t think of anyone more deserving than her of the Exceptional team member of the month award for April. She rocks!!!
• Rebeccah has been there for me in a big way.
• Rebeccah is always willing to and HAS helped the front.
• She even started making phone calls on her own to to help the front!

Padma is one of our new Sonographers! She has been a Sonographer for 20 years and specialized in Obgyn.  She came from India in 1994 to the US.  Her first job was at Mount Sinai Hospital for 1 year, then Christ Medical Center MFM for 6 years.  She is currently working at the Women’s Health of Illinois and part-time at The Wright Center.  She enjoys traveling and volunteering at Chinmaya mission in Burr Ridge.  She has two children, a son and a daughter. Her son is in Medical school and her daughter is in an undergrad program.

We asked, What do you like about The Wright Center? Padma’s response was, “I have been working with Wright center for 3 months. I enjoy working with Dr. Wright, management, co-workers and the beautiful facility.”

We also asked, what is something you saw or learned about scanning at The Wright Center? Padma’s response was, “Scanning Gyn patients for abnormality of the uterus, endometrial thickness, fibroids, forms of cysts, and IUD placements and insertion.
Also, scanning pregnant patients; diagnosing any issues, monitoring growth of the baby in order to maintain a healthy pregnancy and take the 3D/4D pictures.”

Katie is one of our new Sonographers! She is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She has always enjoyed caring for others and she loves science. These things combined have landed her in the medical field and she loves her line of work. Outside of work she enjoys being a busy baseball mom, and she has been married to her wonderful husband for 7 years. Some of her hobbies include cooking, exploring new cuisines, and nature walks.

We asked, What do you like about The Wright Center? Katie’s response was, “The Wright Center for Women’s Health is unlike any other medical establishment I’ve encountered. The focus on patient needs, attention to detail, and the luxurious atmosphere are what make this practice so special. Not to mention the amazing staff that I get to work alongside! They have already taught me so much.”

We also asked, what is something you saw or learned about scanning and how was it helpful to clients at The Wright Center? Katie’s response was, “Since starting my employment at The Wright Center, I have learned new ways of imaging with different modalities on our top of the line ultrasound machine. This equipment allows us to optimize our imaging, allowing us to care for our guests in the best way possible! I am thankful to be starting this new journey with The Wright Center for Women’s Health!”
