The Wright Center for Women's Health will host an open house on Thursday, October 23, at its office at 1763 Freedom Drive, Suite 117 in Naperville. Hours are 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Open House events will include complimentary champagne and hors d'oeurvres, gift bags, and raffle prizes. The event will also feature information related to the latest in cancer screening testing, coincident with Breast Cancer Awareness month. This event is open to the general public. The open house includes tours of the Wright Center's facility, a unique, up-scale office designed to provide a soothing environment for patients. Staff will be on-hand during the informal reception to greet guests and answer any questions they may have. As a thank you for attending, guests can enjoy champagne and hors d'oeurvres, will receive a complimentary gift bag, and be entered for several drawings. The open house will also feature information from Myriad, creator of the latest in genetic testing for cancer markers. Dr. Kimberly E. Wright, ObGyn, head of The Wright Center, is eager to share the latest developments in testing, while giving the public a peek at their exclusive center for personalized luxury healthcare. According to Dr. Wright "We've had a number of patients with a history of cancer in their families. We utilize a test that identifies cancer markers for not only breast cancer, but for a wide range of cancers. This is a valuable tool that physicians can use to better assess and treat a patient. Given that this is Breast Cancer Awareness month, we wanted to do our part to make our community aware of the latest in testing methods available."
