Sexual Dysfunction and My Hair

I am so sorry I haven’t written in a while. As you know I keep my nose to the grindstone, but I really wanted to tell you about one of my latest projects. Of course being able to help people on a day to day basis is a wonderful gift but I wanted to be able to touch and educate more people, so I made this video on something that I discuss often in our practice, Sexual Dysfunction. Of course we are our own worst critic and I’m very pleased with the information I share, but here’s the problem…

MY HAIR! You know how when you see yourself in pictures, there’s always a little something you wish was just a little bit different? Well, try watching yourself on video. I can’t believe how stiff, sticky and crunchy it looks. I’ve been aware something wasn’t quite right for a while, but you just keep it moving and I couldn’t put my finger on it until a good friend said, “Kim, why is your hair looking like that?!? It didn’t used to be like that. Are you using something different?” Then it dawned on me…

So what had happened was… for the last 20+ years I’ve used something called Motions Foam Styling Lotion. My niece who is the hair styling Queen turned me on to it. And then I ran out, hadn’t had time to go to the Beauty Supply Store, happened to be in this Walgreens out here and I got this TRESemme mousse. How different could it be, right? Wrong. So there, you go, this is why I end up with the sticky, stiff, crunchy hair. Too bad I didn’t catch the issue before the video. Well, at least my makeup was kinda cute. I won’t get into the whole obnoxiously bright pink lipstick thing.

Anyway, the important thing is that I am very proud of the fact that I did get this information out there on Sexual Dysfunction. I’m delighted that in addition to my awesome one on one time educating the very few of many who need to know and be aware of this information, I now will be able to reach so many more! Elogeme Adolphi Christian Sorority

So every month our clients, (That would be you) help us to decide which charity we will donate to by choosing an Exceptional Staff Member of the Month. How does that happen? Well, every month whoever a client mentions by name in a survey or review who went above and beyond gets to be the Exceptional Staff Member of the Month and then that staff member chooses which charity the practice will donate to that month. This month one of our fantabulous clients mentioned Stefani!  She chose Elogeme Adolphi Christian Sorority for her charity. A special thank you to this client for giving us the opportunity to give!

Exceptional Staff Member of the Month!

Our Exceptional Staff Member of the month is Stefani! We asked the staff, “What is Stefani’s value to the universe?” Here is what the staff said:

  • Stefani is a kind caring individual. She is amazing with patients and always willing to go above and beyond to help others!
  • I believe Stefani brings a calm knowledge, gentleness and sense of humor to the universe.
  • Stefani gives so much value to our practice as well as the universe. It’s too much to write but one thing in particular that I love is how thankful she is, her gratefulness and wonderful positive attitude makes me so very thankful that she’s a part of our team!
  • Making others happy and shedding knowledge and being a light in a dark space.
  • Stefani is spiritual and leads by example. Being patient, caring and kind.
  • She is passionate about what she does and is always willing to help others!
  • Stefani is so personable and very open and inviting. Her outgoing personality makes me feel very comfortable talking to her and I assume patients love that quality about her too!
  • Stefani is so professional and caring. She makes the patient comfortable and listens to their concerns very patiently.

We also will be donating money to the charity of Stefani’s choice! Find out on Monday what charity she chose!

Exceptional Staff Member of the Month!

Our Exceptional Staff Member of the month is Kathy! We asked the staff, “What is Kathy’s value to the universe?”  Here is what the staff said:

  • She is amazing with the staff and her patients. She always makes you feel welcome and she has a great bedside manner.
  • She is compassionate
  • She is the kindest most caring person ever!
  • She gives compassion and kindness to the universe and her willingness to help is unmatched.
  • Kindness and care! Her love for the patients and the way she takes care of them.
  • Kathy is very professional, compassionate and experienced in her job. She is really helpful and caring. You can go to her with any questions and she will have the answer.
  • She is the kindest and most caring person I know! She is always there for anyone when they need her. She’s the best!
  • Kathy is very sweet and kind to all the patients. She genuinely cares and basically just wants to take care of people and does an amazing job at it. Personally I’m not sure what I would do and how I could actually survive without Kathy. I truly appreciate her existence!
  • Kathy is very knowledgeable and patient when speaking with patients.
  • Her value to the universe is her knowledge about her job and how she explains things to our patients as well as fellow employees.
  • Her value to the universe is bringing peace and a helping hand!
  • Her value to this world is her love and compassion for others!
