Hi, my name is Jenna and I am a newly graduated RN and I got my BSN from The University of Saint Francis. In my free time I love to watch movies, spend time with my family, and hang out with my dogs (a yorkie and a lab mix). I’ve always been very passionate about women’s health and I am excited to start my nursing career with The Wright Center for Women’s Health!

The Wright Center Continues To Add New Staff!

With the addition of 9 new healthcare professionals in the coming months, The Wright Center for Women’s Health will continue to be one of the fastest-growing healthcare facilities in the Chicagoland area.

Founded by Dr. Kimberly E. Wright in 2012, we operate on the principle of providing exceptional Personalized Luxury Healthcare to the Naperville and surrounding area. With the addition of about 30 percent more staff, The Center will continue on its path to being one of the largest women’s healthcare providers in the area.

In recent weeks, The Center has hired an additional Board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist, an Operations Manager and two Registered Nurses.

“I am embarking upon an exceedingly difficult task,” said Dr. Wright. “My 10-year target is to be recognized as America’s Preferred Women’s Center for Executive Level Testing and Quality Care. Growing our team with the very best healthcare providers available will ensure we reach our audacious goals.”

In addition to those already hired, by the end of 2020 the practice also will have hired a Chief Financial Officer, Chief Experience Officer, Lab Manager, and Physician’s Assistant.

Most notably, The Center’s plan to hire a CFO will allow the practice to effectively manage risk and provide an organizational structure to long term financial stability.

“For a small practice the positions of CFO and COO may seem out of place,” Dr. Wright said. “However, we are positioning ourselves for much more growth in the coming years and filling these positions today make that growth all the more possible.”

The Wright Center for Women’s Health CHA

Here at The Wright Center for Women’s Health we want to give you a higher quality of service. We will be doing a Complete Health Assessment on all of our patients in order to truly give you the best care possible.

What does the Complete Health Assessment consist of?
Blood Work
We will start by doing your routine blood work. Along with the routine labs we will also check your hormones as well. Here is a list of the blood tests we will be running:

  • CBC
  • CMP
  • Lipid Panel
  • Vitamin D
  • TSH
  • Free T3
  • Total T4
  • TPO
  • Testosterone
  • Estradiol
  • FSH
  • Vitamin B12

Please make sure to let our Phlebotomist know if you would like any additional tests added before she draws your blood.

ANS and Max Pulse Test

Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) is the nervous system that controls involuntary bodily functions such as Appetite, Mood, Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Digestion, Bladder Function and Sexual Function. Endothelial cells form the lining of all blood vessels, enabling the vessels to dilate as needed for increased blood flow, as well as to protect them from inflammation and cholesterol plaques.

Damages to this endothelial lining or Endothelial Dysfunction are associated with increased risk of diabetes, strokes and heart disease. Damage to the ANS can cause problems to above functions. ANS testing can help detect these problems.

Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) and Endothelial Function Testing assess the following Risk Factors:

  • Autonomic Nervous System dysfunction: Involuntary functions
  • Sudomotor Dysfunction: Sweat Gland function
  • Endothelial Dysfunction: Risk of heart attack and stroke
  • Insulin Resistance: Risk of developing Diabetes
  • Cardiometabolic Risk: Risk of heart disease and metabolic disorders such as metabolic syndrome
  • Small Fiber Neuropathy: Can start as numbness and tingling in hands and feet
  • Cardiac Autonomic Neuropathy: The nerves that innervate the heart
  • Cardiovascular disease via plethysmography: Combined total of the other 7 risk factors

Diagnostic Ultrasounds
We will be performing both an external and internal ultrasound before your appointment. The purpose of this is to rule out any abnormalities such as Fibroids, Ovarian Cysts, etc. If you no longer have your uterus then you do not need to have an ultrasound.

Please make sure to drink at least 32 ounces of water 1 hour before your ultrasound. A full bladder will help the Sonographer view the pelvic organs. Be sure to drink the water slowly to prevent abdominal discomfort and arrive at your appointment with a comfortably full bladder.
