Exceptional Staff Member of the Month!
Amanda Pool is our Exceptional Staff member of the month! She has been with The Wright Center since the beginning. Amanda finished phlebotomy school in August of 2012 and constantly learning, perfecting her skills and taking courses ever since. She is definitely a pro at drawing blood on even the tiniest veins. Not only is she great at her job, she’s definitely the life of the office party. She keeps things exciting, always willing, up for any extracurricular activities and very helpful. She put’s the team in team building events!

Rebeccah has been with us since February of 2014 and we are extremely fortunate to have her. She received her MA certification from Everest College in April of 2014, completed her externship with us and decided to stay. Rebeccah reminds us of a breath of fresh air; extremely smart, meticulous, efficient, intuitive, thorough, insightful, and truly dedicated.

Rebeccah also has a way of just making people feel good…When Dr. Wright asked Rebeccah why she chose to go into the field of medicine, Rebeccah replied, “the reason was you! I felt inspired by the way you took care of me when I was your patient and I really admired the quality of care that you were giving. It made me want to do the same. I’ve been your patient for 9 years. That’s why I came to the office to ask for an interview!”
When Rebeccah reluctantly takes time off she enjoys spending time with her 3yo daughter, Olivia, and her fiancé Michael.

Maintenance of Certification
Winter Drink
1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey or rum, 1/2 ounce hazelnut liqueur, 1/2 ounce Irish cream liqueur, Hot coffee
Dollop of Grand Marnier Whipped Cream
Directions:
In a glass coffee mug, stir together whiskey, hazelnut liqueur, and Irish cream; top with coffee. Garnish cocktail with whipped cream and serve immediately. Enjoy!!
