Welcome Dr. Bushra Khan!

Dr. Bushra Khan

Hello TWC! My name is Dr. Bushra Khan filling in as the new Procedure Manager at the OB/GYN office. I bring over 8 years of vigorous Medical and Clinical Administrative experience in healthcare operations and process improvements to the TWC team.

I am a foreign medical graduate holding an M.B.B.S degree that is equivalent to an M.D (Doctor of Medicine) degree and am currently enrolled in the postgraduate program to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with core competencies in Organizational Theory and Behavior, Marketing Management and Managerial Accounting.

I began my career in the middle east (U.A.E) as the Area Manager/Clinical Coordinator in a large hospital system where I gained extensive experience managing operations for various departments. Later, after moving to the U.S I pursued to enhance my knowledge of the healthcare system and got certified as CCMA by the NHA (National Health Association). Most recently, I served as the Office Manager at an Ambulatory Surgical Center, where I was responsible for developing and implementing new policies and procedures to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. I was also responsible for training and coaching staff on the new processes as well as providing extensive training for them on the new EMR (eClinicalWorks).

I speak 5 languages and moreover, I consider myself to be a strong and detail-oriented healthcare professional with exceptional leadership skills and a result-driven individual who leads by example and who fosters a team environment. I have always had a passion for women’s health and being a part of TWC has given me just the platform I had been thriving for. I am committed to ensuring that TWC provides the highest quality of care to their patients. Additionally, I am also certified in Project Management-Lean Process, Executive Management and possess an in-depth knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma (Green Belt).

In my leisure time I like to journal and spend quality time with my family – my 3 little munchkins; Zainab (6 Year old daughter) and 2 sons Hasan (5 year old) and Husayn (4 year old) and love to travel and venture out new places and meet new people.

In my role as Procedure Manager, I will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the clinical procedures, including scheduling, patient preparation, along with scheduling post-procedure follow-ups. I look forward to working closely with the providers to ensure that procedures are performed safely and efficiently. I hope to instill the ideal teamwork vision that I have in my mind and to exceed expectations here at the most unique healthcare facility I’ve come across so far – TWC.
